Designed for my niece on the occasion on her wedding to honor the Buddha and her academic success at Harvard and as a yoga teacher. The handloom silk fabric was embroidered in Jaipur at the time of her mother’s wedding and gifted to her by my mother. So the sari holds inter-generational significance and memories for the family. The Gayatri mantra painted on to the sari represents respect and humility and the power of love.
